Summons together with a copy of the petition of applications and annexures, if any, shall be served in the manner prescribed in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act V of 1908) save in proceeding under Chapter IX of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), where the provisions of that Code will apply.
