The following shall be the Schedule for conducting election to the offices of the members of the Territorial Constituencies and Presidents of Water Users Associations,

SCHEDULE Events Date and Time Receipt of nominations and publication of final list of contesting candidates Date : ...........

(a) Receipt of nominations from the contesting candidates for members of Territorial Constituencies and Presidents of Water

9.00 AM to 4.00 PM Users Associations. Date:

(b) Scrutiny of nominations and publication of list of valid nominations.

9.00 AM to 2.00 PM

2.00 PM to 4.00 PM

(c) Withdrawal of candidature.

From 4.00 PM onwards till completion of the work on the same day

(d) Finalization of list of contestants and allotment of the election symbols Polling and announcing Results Date: .............

(e) Polling to elect the members of Territorial Constituencies and 7.00 A.M. to 2.00 PM Presidents of Water Users Associations.

(f) Counting of votes and declaration of results.

4.00 PM onwards

Explanation.—If shall however be competent for the Collector to alter the timings indicated above, provided that the entire poll process of electing President and members shall be completed on the same day.
