(1) The Collector shall in pursuance of and in consonance with provisions of the Act in this behalf, by notification publish in Form - 4 in the District Gazette, call upon on such date or dates as may be specified therein to elect the Chairman and members of the Managing Committee of the Project Committee.
(2) The notification. shall specify the phases of election if necessary•, the corresponding date or dates of elections and the list of names of Project Committee covered in those phases.
(3) The notification shall specify the Project Committee for which election is to be held, the place, date of special meeting and time schedule for filing nominations, scrutiny of nominations, withdrawal of candidature, election, counting of votes and declaration of results.
(4) The Collector shall also arrange to send the copy of the notification to all the members of General body of Project Committee (i.e.) to all Presidents of Distributory Committees under the jurisdiction of the Project Committee, by registered office, five clear days in advance of the date of election.
