(1) The following shall be the time schedule for conducting election to the office of Chairman of Project Committee. The election shall be held in a specially convened meeting and shall conclude on a single day.

(a) Receipt of nominations for the office of President 8-30 A.M. to 9-30 A.M.
(b) Scrutiny of nominations and publication of list of contesting candidates 9-30 A.M. to 10-00 A.M.
(c) Withdrawal of candidature 10-00 A.M. to 10-30 A.M
(d) Publication of final list of candidates 10-45 A.M.
(e) Election in the event of contest 11-30 A.M. to 12-15 P.M.
(f) Counting and declaration of results Immediately after poll
(2) Election to the office of members shall be taken up immediately after the completion of election to the office of the Chairman. The candidate elected as Chairman shall not be eligible to contest for the office of members. But, he shall participate in the election for the members of the Project Committee. The following is the time schedule for election to the office of members of the Project Committee.

(f) Counting and declaration of results 4-30 P.M. to 5-15 P.M.

(3) In exigencies, it shall be competent to the Collector to change the time schedule mentioned in sub-rule (1) and subrule (2) marginally, provided that the entire poll process for the election to the office of Chairman and members shall be completed on the same day.
