Section 2: Validation of proceedings and acts of V Additional Sub-Judge, Tiruchirappalli acting as Tribunal under the Inam Abolition Laws

Notwithstanding that the V Additional Sub-Judge, Tiruchirappalli has not been appointed to perform the functions of the Tribunal under the Tamil Nadu Inam Estates (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act, 1963 (Tamil Nadu Act 26 of 1963), the Tamil Nadu Minor Inams (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act, 1963 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1963) and the Tamil Nadu Inams (Supplementary) Act, 1963 (Tamil Nadu Act 31 of 1963) (hereinafter referred to as the said Acts) all orders passed, all applications, petitions and other documents received, all decisions and proceedings taken, all permissions granted, all directions and summons issued, and all other acts and things done as Tribunal under the said Acts by or before the said V Additional Sub-Judge, Tiruchirappalli during the period commencing on the 14th December 1976 and ending with the 16th February 1977, shall be deemed to have been validly passed, received, taken, granted, issued or done as if the said V Additional Sub-Judge, Tiruchirappalli had been invested with powers of the Tribunal under the said Acts with effect on and from the 14th December 1976.
