(1) Every Member along with his family shall be entitled to allotment of an apartment on payment of monthly rent as specifi ed in sub-section (3) of section 12 of the Act.
(2) Rental charges for accommodation in Hostel for Former Members shall be Rs 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per day:
Provided that the Former Members shall be entitled to accommodation in Hostel only upto fi ve days in a calendar month either continuously or in spells and they shall be permitted to stay in the Hostel either with his or her spouse or with an attendant:

Provided further that the Former Members who attend the celebrations shall be provided free accommodation in the Hostel on the day of the celebrations and one day before and one day after the celebrations on fi rst come and fi rst served basis and in case of non-availability of accommodation in the Hostel, they shall be paid at the rate prescribed above or the actual rent paid by them for private accommodation, whichever is less.
