Section 51: Appointment of the first Registrar

The Madurai Kamaraj University Act, 1965State Act of Tamil Nadu · Act 33 of 1965

Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) of section 13, within three months from the date of publication of this Act in the Fort St. George Gazette, the first Registrar shall be appointed by the Chancellor on a salary to be fixed by him for a period not exceeding three years and on such conditions as he thinks fit.
