(1) The Controller of Examinations shall be an academician in the field of medical science and a wble-time officer of the aiversity appointed by the Governing Council &I such terms an2 conditions as may be fixed by the Governing Council.
(2) The Controller of Examinations shall hold office for a period of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further period of three years :
Provided that no person appointed as Controller of Examinations , shall hold office on attaining the age of Mty-eight years.
(3) The Cmtroller fof Examinations shall exercise such powers and parform such functions and discharge such duties as may be prescribed in the statutes. I

(2) One-third of the total strength of the members of the Smate W be the quorum required for a meeting of the Sanate:
Provided that such quorum shall not be required at a convocation $ the University.
(3) The Vice-chancellor may, whenever he thinks , fit, and shall, upon a requisition in writillg siytai! by pot less than fifty per cent of the total members of the Senate, convene a special meetihg of t b Senate.
