Section 3: The University

The Tamil Nadu Medical University Act, 1987State Act of Tamil Nadu · Act 37 of 1987

(1) There shall be a University by the name "The Tamil Nadu Medical University". >

(2) The University shall be a body cdrpora te, shall have perpetual iuccession and 21 cominon seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.

(3) The headquarters of the University shall be located within the Smits of the Madras Metropolitan Planning Area as defined in clause i23-a) of section 2 of the Tamil Nadn Town and Country Planning Act, i971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972).
