Section 9: Transfer of certificate of registration

The Tamil Nadu Motor Transport Workers' Rules, 1965State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1961

(1) An employer holding a certificate of registration may, at any time before the expiry of its validity, apply for permission to transfer the certificate to another person in Form No.III.

(2) Every application under sub-rule (1) shall be made together with the certificate of registration in original and a treasury receipt showing that the fee of 2[rupees one hundred] has been paid in the local treasury to the Inspector of Labour concerned who shall, if he approves of the transfer, enter upon the certificate of registration under his signature an endorsement to the effect that the certificate of registration has been transferred to the person named.
