Every Panchayat shall maintain a list of fairs and festivals taking place in its jurisdiction. The District Panchayat shall maintain a master list of Village Panchayat, and Panchayat Union wise classified fairs and festival. The master list shall indicate the place, purpose, objective, importance, period, day of each fair and festival taking place in the district concerned.
