Section 3: Periodical disclosure of Assets of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and members of Panchayat Union Council

The Chairman, Vice-Chairman and every member of a Panchayat Union Council shall-

(a) If he is elected after the date of coming into force of these Rules, within a period of thirty days, after such election ; and

(b) thereafter, at intervals of every twelve months ending with the 31st day of March, furnish in duplicate to the Commissioner in the Form appended to these Rules a return of –

(i) all properties owned, acquired or inherited by him or his family members including their liabilities ; and

(ii) all properties held on lease or mortgage either in his own name or in the name of his family members, including their liabilities together with details of the means by which or the sources from which, such property was acquired or inherited.
