Section 4: Returns to be placed at the meeting and to be public document

The Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Disclosure of Assests and Liabilities By Chairmanm, Vice-Chairman and Members of Village Panchayat) Rules, 1999State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1994

(1) After the receipt of the return specified in Rule 3, the Executive Authority shall, cause it be placed at the meeting of the Village Panchayat, and send a copy to the Inspector.

(2) Such return shall be deemed to be a public document and the Executive Authority, with the permission of the village Panchayat, may, subject to such condition 2 including payment of fees specified in Rule 5 give to any person on demand a copy of such return.
