Section 14: Terms and conditions of service of members of the Board

(1) Non-official members of the Board residing in Madras shall be paid an allowance of 1[(Rs..150 (Rupees one hundred and fifty only)] per any for each day of the meetings actually attended by them.

, (2) Non-official members of the, Board not residing in Madras shall be paid an allowance of 2[Rs. 150 (Rupees one hundred and fifty only)] per day for each. day of the meetings actually attended by them. They are also eligible for travelling and daily allowance at such rates as are

1. Substituted for the words “Rs. 50/- by Go. Ms. No. 101, E 8( F dated 6th February 1990. .

2. Substituted for the words "Rs. 50/-“ by G.O.Ms. No. 101 E & F dated 6th February 1990. ‘ TheT.N. Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, (1983 8 admissible to grade | Officers of a State Public Sector undertaking in accordance with the rules or orders issued by the Government from time to time :

Provided that in the case of a member of the Tamil Nadu Legislature who is also a member of the Board, the daily and travelling allowance will be admissible to him only when the Legislature is not in session or on production of a certificate by such member that he has not drawn‘any . such allowance for the same journey and halts from any Government source.

(3) The official members of the Board whether residing in Madras or not shall be paid travelling and daily allowance admisssible to them in accordance with the travelling allowance rules of the Government.
