(1) As soon as may be, after the approval of a Development Plan under sections 28 or 29, as the case may be, the Government shall, in consultation with the director, (Chennai) Metropolitan Development Authority, constitute a Tribunal under section 71 for each such area or for number of such areas in contiguity for the purposes mentioned in the section.
(2)The tribunal so constituted shall consist of one person only who shall be appointed from a panel of judicial officers not below the rank of a Subordinate Judge to be submitted by the Directed, (Chennai) Metropolitan Development, Authority from among the officers of the State Judiciary recommended by the High Court for this purpose.
(3) The constitution of every such Tribunal shall be notified in the Tamil Nadu government Gazette and shall also be notified to all the concerned Planning Authority.
(4) The notification published under sub-rule (3) shall define the area of jurisdiction, the period and the headquarters of the Tribunal:
Provided that the Government may vary and of these by a fresh notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
