(1) No person shall, on the Late or dates on which a poll is taken at any polling station,--
(a) use 01 ogerate .,vitl-iin or at the el-trance of the ~olling station, or in any publicor rrivaterlace ir the neighbourhood there, of any apparatus for arnplifsjn~ or reproducing the human 170ice, such as megaphorie or a loudspeaker; 01 (bj shout or otherwise act in a disorderly manner, within or at the entrance of the polling station in any public or private place in the neil.hbourhood thereof, so as to causeannoyance to any person visiting the polling station, for the poll. or so as to interfere with the work of the officers and other persons on duty at the polling station.
(2) Any person who contravenes or wilfully aids or abets the contravention of the provisions of sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment tor a term which may extend to three months or with fine or with both. . -
(3) If the polling officer of a polling station has reason to believe that any person is committing or has committed an offmce punishable under &IS swllo~l, he maydlrect any police oficer to arrest such person and thereupon the police officer dull ~rrcst him.
(4) Ally police oficcr may take su& steps, and use such force as may'be reasonably necessary for re venting any contravention of the provisions of sub-sect ion (11 and may seiz any apparatus used for such contravention.
