Section 17: Reporting the death of a licensee

Where the licensee dies, the legal heir of the deceased person and in the case of a recognized institute or a registered firm or company, the succeeding chief person managing the affairs shall report the death of the holder of licence in writing within fifteen 11 days and also apply for changes to be effected in the licence to the Commissioner, who shall after making necessary enquiry pass approval orders effecting necessary changes, in the licence issued by changing the name of the licensee.
