[6-A. Appointment of Inspectors.-- (1) The Government may by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint Inspectors for the purposes of this Act and may determine the local limits within which and the classes of factories in respect of which they shall exercise their functions.

(2) Every Inspector shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (XLV of 1860.)]
