(1) The State Government may by notification direct that all or any of the powers exercisable by it, under this Act or rules made thereunder, except under sections 79 and 81, shall in relation to such matters and subject to such Representation of the tramway operator.

[Act No.38 of 2008] 49 conditions, if any, as may be specified in the notification, be exercisable also by such officer or authority authorized by the State Government, including the tramway operator, or by any officer of the tramway operator, authorized by the State Government.
(2) Subject to the provisions of the order or the agreement, as the case may be, the tramway operator may, by general or special order in writing and with the previous approval of the State Government, delegate to any of its officials, subject to such conditions and limitations, if any, as may be specified by it, such of its powers and functions under this Act, except its power under section 82.
