Section 16

The Telangana Municipalities Act, 2019State Act of Telangana · Act 11 of 2019

(1) Where an election held under section 12 or section 15, and no member is elected, the State Election Commission in consultation with the State Government, may fix a fresh election date.

(2) The term of office of a member elected under this section shall expire at the time at which it would have expired, if he had been elected at the ordinary or casual election, as the case may be.
