(1) If the Government is of the opinion that the services of particular class of state Government employees are required to perform the duties of the Municipality, shall place the services of such Government employee at the disposal of the Municipality and the Municipality shall pay the salary and other benefits as entitled to receive under the normal foreign service deputation Rules as prescribed.
(2) The Government is the competent authority for taking disciplinary action or in respect of employees of the Government on deputation I lien to Municipality under sub section (1), and such action, if any, shall be in accordance with the provisions under the Act.
47. The Government may prescribe general code of conduct for the elected representatives and the employees of Municipality for the purpose of smooth functioning of day to day administration.
