Section 23: Sale how conducted.

The Telangana Revenue Recovery Act, 1864.State Act of Telangana · Act 2 of 1864

At the appointed time, the property shall be put up in one or more lots, as the said officer may consider advisable, and shall be disposed of to the highest bidder. Where the property may sell for more than the amount of the arrear, the overplus after deducting expenses of process and interest, shall be paid to the defaulter.
