Section 2: Definitions

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Allowances to part-time members) Rules, 2000Central Rules · 1997

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, -

(a) “Act” means the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997);

(b) “Authority” means the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India established under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Act;

(c) “Meeting” means meeting convened by the Authority as per the TRAI Meetings for Transaction of Business Regulation 1999;

(d) “part-time member” means a part-time member appointed under sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Act.
