Section 3: Meeting allowance

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Allowances to part-time members) Rules, 2000Central Rules · 1997

A part-time member shall be entitled to receive an allowance of Rs. 2000/- (two thousand rupees only) for a meeting of the Authority attended by him.

Provided that total of such allowance to a part-time member shall not exceed Rs. 26,000/- per month;

Provided further that where a Government officer is appointed as a part-time member, he shall not be paid any allowance.
