Section 26: Procedure on transfer of a boiler

The Tripura Boilers Rules, 1983State Rules of Tripura · 1923

Whenever a boiler is transferred from another State to Tripura, the owner shall under clause (b) 11 of section 6 apply to the Chief Inspector for the registration of the transfer. The Chief Inspector shall then obtain the registration book and memorandum of inspection book of the boiler from the State from which the boiler was transferred. No fee shall be charged for recording transfer.

The boiler cannot be used before the transfer is recorded.
