On receipt of the registration and memorandum of inspection book, the Deputy Chief Inspector or Chief Inspector shall enter the boiler under its original number in Part II of his register and shall instruct the Inspector or the area in which the boiler is situated to enter it similarly in his register. The registration book and the memorandum of Inspection books shall be kept in the Office of the Deputy Chief Inspector or the Chief Inspector.
