(e) "Norified se'vice' means any service notified by the state
(t) "covemmenf' means the Govemmert ofTripura;
(g) "prescribed" mealrs pr€scrib€d by the rutes rnade under this Acll
(h) "Public Authority ' means rhe Organization or Authonly or body or insrirution or a Local Authority established or consiituled, -
(i) by or onder the Constitution in the Stale:
(ii) by any other law nude by the State Legislature;
(iii) by notrfication issned o. order made by the Govemment and includes, -
(iv) body oured, contolled or substaniially financed;or
(v) Non'Governmeolai organization substantially fi nanced; directly or indirectly by the Govemment.
C) "Public servant" 'neais a person subst?ntively appointed to any service or post ofthe public authonty:
(k) "Riglrt lo sewice- means right to obiain the citizen relaled seryices within tlrc stipulat€dtinre specified in the Schedule;
(l) "slipulated time" mears the maximunr time lo provide the seraic€ by the designated oflicer or to decide the appeal by the competent oflicer or Appellate Authoriry notified under Section 3
3. Right toobtain service tliahin stipulated time limit -
(1) Every eligible citizen shall have nght to obtain citizen relaied eligible services in the State in accordance with this Act withn the stipulated time specified thereunder;
(2) Every desi$ated oftlc€r and his subordinate public s€rvant ofthe Public Auihority shall provide the cilizen related s€rvices specified ir the Schedul€ to the cirizens eligible to obiain the ser,,ice, within the strpulated time ard also display the same on the norice board of rheir offices.
