Section 15: Publication of the list of contesting candidate

(1) Immediately after the expiry of the period within which candidature may be withdrawn under' Rule-Id' the Returning Officer shall prepare and publish a Jist of contestin g candidates that is to say candidate who were val idly n orn i nated and who have not withdrawn their ca ndidatuers within the said period.

(2) The said list shall contain the names (in alphabetical order) and addresses of the contesting canidates as given in the nomination papers-

(3) The said list shall be published in the official Gazette of the Government and be given wide publ icity in such manner as the Returning Officer may deem fit·
