Section 6: Term of office and retirement

The term of office of the Chairman, the Vice-chairman and other members shall be as specified in sub-clauses (a) , (b) and (c) respectively of sub-section (1) of section G of the Act:

Provided that the Central Government may after giving him an opportunity of being heard, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing retire a member earlier.
