n 2) When the execution of the wor undertiken by the Public Wor of a Parishad of Kshettra Samiti is eparunent, Local Self-Government Engineering Department or Irrigation Dcpartment and funds. have been provided, the work shall ‘be carried out by such department exclusively in accordance with its rules and the account of the work shall also be kept department. .
11. For any work undertaken through the agency of the Public Works Department, Local Self-Government adl audited in such Engincering Department or Irrigation Department, such fees as the State Government may be order specify, shall be paid by the Pavishad or the Kshettra Samiti as the case may be.
12. The Parishad or Kshettra Samiti shall miaintain, through its own agency all works owned by.it 7
Provided that a Parishad. or a Kshettra Samiti may, witl} sanction of the State Government, transfer to- the P for a specified period of not less than” three years,— L the previous ublic Works Department, (@) all or some of its.metalled roads; together wit including bridges and roadside trees, ectc., for recond repairs or maintenance; and
(b) specified uninetalled roads, -together with their accessories includ- ing bridges and roddside trees, etc., for the-purpose of metalling and sub- sequent maintenance.
