Section 17: Combined select list

GROUP D SERVICE REGULATION 2005 (English)State Regulations of Uttar Pradesh · 1960

If in any year of recruitment, appointments are made both by direct recruitment and by promotion, a combined select list shall be prepared by the appointing authority by taking the names of candidates from the relevant lists in such manner that the prescribed percentage in maintained, the first name in the list being for the person appointed by promotion.
