Section 38: Matdan Adhyaksha’s entry into polling compartment during poll

(1) If the Matdan Adhyaksha nas reason to suspect that an elector who has entered the polling compartment has remained inside the polling compartment for unduly long time he may enter the polling compartment and take such steps as may be necessary to ensure the s0oth and prompt progress of the polls.
