There shall to following centralised Services in the Palikas and Jal Sansthtans and they shall consist of the posts mentioned against them:
(1) U. P. Palika and Jal Sansthanas Water Works Engineering (Superior)
(i) Nagar Abhiyanta (Jal) of Corporation Service
(ii) General Manager of Jal Sansthans
(iii) Executive Engineer
(iv) Assistant Engineer
(2) U. P. Palika and Jal Sansthanas Water Works Engineering (Subordinate) Service
(i) Junior Engineer Grade-I
(ii) Junior Engineer
Explanation: The officers absorbed on the posts of the services mentioned in Column-I below shall be deemed absorbed on the posts of the services mentioned in Column-II against these post from the date of their absorption :

1. Executive Engineer Water Works Engineer of 'A' class undertakings in Municipal Councils and Jal Sansthans.
2. Assistant Engineer Water Works Engineer or Assistant Water Works Engineer (qualified) of ''B'' class undertakings in Municipal Councils and Jal Sansthans.
(2) U. P. Palika and Jal Sansthanas Water Works Engineering (Subordinate) Service
3. Junior Engineer Grade-I 1. Water Works Engineer (qualified) of 'C' class undertakings in Municipal Councils and Jal Sansthans
2. Chief Meter Inspector.
3. Chief Pipeline Inspector.
4. Chief Zonal Inspector.
5. Chief Waste Detection Inspector
4. Junior Engineer Pipeline Inspector
4. Pay-The scales of pay admissible to persons appointed to the various categories of posts in the service, whether in a substantive or officiating capacity or as a temporary measure, shall be such as may be determined by the Government from time to time.
