Section 5: Strength of Services

The Uttar Pradesh Palika and Jal Sansthans Water Works Engineering (Centralised) Services Rules, 1996State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1916

(1) The strength of each of the Centralised Services created under rule 3 shall be such as the Government may fix from time to time.

(2) Until the Government determines the strength of post as envisaged under subrule (1) the posts in the service as existing on the 12th day of December, 1983 and such posts created with the approval of Government after that date under the Cooperations, Municipal Council of all category and Jal Sansthans; shall form the present strength.

(3) The Corporation, Municipal Council and Jal Sansthans shall have no authority to abolish any of the existing post under the Centralised services or any such post which may created in future.
