Section 2: Definitions

Uttar Pradesh Panchayat (Determination and Publication of Number of Persons Belonging to Backward Classes) Rules, 1994State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1947

In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context :

| () “Block Officer” means a person appointed as such under Rule 6;

(b) “Enumerator” means a person appointed as such under Rule 6;

(c) “Panchayat” means a Panchayat referred to in clause (d) of Article 243 of the Constitution;

| (d) “Supervisor” means a person appointed as such under Rule 6;

| (e) “Zonal Officer” means a person appointed as such under Rule 6.
