Section 7: Meeting of the Committee

Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj (Organisation of Committees of Gram Panchayats to Aid them in the Performance of their Functions) Rules, 2002State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1947

(1) Cha'xrman:l shall convene the meefip, of the committee at least once in a month. The written notice of a Meeting of a committee shall be given at least 5 days before the date of the meeting, o all the members.

(2) Decisions at the meeting of any committee shall be taken by Majority of votes and in case of equality of votes the Chairman shall have a casting vote,

(8) The committee shall keep a record of its proceedings in Hindi written in Devanagari script. The proceeding shall be recorded by the Secretary and signed by the Chairman of the committee,

(4) The record of the proceedings and other records of the committee shall be kept in the custody of the Secretary who shall be responsible for correct recording of the minutes and safe custody of the records.
