Rules for Elections to the Board of Indian Medicine, U. P.State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1939

(1) The Returning Officer shall dispose of the election papers in such manner as the Slate Government may direct.

(2) The packets of ballot papers, whether valid or rejected, and of the counterfoils thereof shall not be opened and their contents shall not. be inspected by, or produced before any person or authority except under the order of a competent court or a tribunal.

(3) All other papers relating to the election shall be open to public inspection subject to the payment of a fee which the State Government may fix on such conditions, if any, as the State Government may specify.

(4) Copies of the return by the Returning Officer forwarded under rule 34 and of any election paper other than those mentioned in sub-rule (1) shall be furnished by the person in whose custody the papers may be on payment of such fees as the State Government may specify.
