Rules for Elections to the Board of Indian Medicine, U. P.State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1939

(1) A claim under rule 4 shall be in writing signed either by the person desiring his name to be included in the list or by an agent authorized in writing by such person and unless it is sent by post, shall be presented either by such person personally or by such agents. The claim must state the qualification which inclusion of name is sought.

Lists of registered Vaids and registered Hakims.

List of teachers of Ayurvedic and Unani Educational Institutions affiliated to the Board.

Preparation and notification of draft list.

Particulars of guarding claims and objections.

Duration of final list.

Amendment of final list.

(2) An objection under rule 4 shall be in writing and be signed and presented as in sub-rule (1), and if it is an objection against the entry of any name in the list it shall be filed in duplicate and shall be accompanied with a properly stamped and addressed envelope for the service of: notice of hearing by registered post upon the objector or his agent and the person to the entry of whose name the objection relates. The objection shall specify the correction sought, and if it seeks the omission of any name entered in the draft list such name with all its particulars entered in the draft list against that name and the grounds on which, objection is taken to the inclusion of the name.
