Section 27: Nominaon of members of the Mandi Sami under subsecon (1) of Secon 13 of the Act [Secon 13(3)

(1) The Director shall call upon the Central Warehousing Corporaon, if it runs a warehouse in the Market Area, to nominate one person as a Member of the Mandl Sami and thereupon the said Corporaon shall inmate to the Director within twenty-one days of such requision the name and address of the person so nominated.

(2) The Director shall also call upon the State Warehousing Corporaon, if it runs a warehouse in the Market Area, to nominate one person as a Member of the Mandi Sami and thereupon the said Corporaon shall inmate to the Director, within twenty-one days of such requision the name and address of the person so nominated.

(3) The Director shall also call upon the Food Corporaon of India, if it is holding a licence for transacng business in the Market Area to nominate one person as a member of the Mandl Sarni and thereupon the said Corporaon shall inmate to the Director within twenty-one days of such requision, the name and address of the person so nominated.

(4) The State Government shall nominate two Government ocials as members of the Mandi Sami of whom one shall be a representave of the Agriculture Markeng Department and the other of Food and Civil Supplies Department.
