Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement The United Provinces Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 28 of 1947
1. (1) This Act may be called the "the United Provinces Industrial Disputes Act, 1947."
(2) It extends to the whole of [Uttar Pradesh].
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the [State Government] may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
