Section 7: Power to continue order passed under other enactments

7. Without prejudice to the generality of the powers vesting under sections [the provisions of this Act]the [State Government] may, by order, for the purposes contemplated in section 3 -
(i) continue, with such modifications as it may consider necessary, under such conditions, and for such period as may be specified in the order, any order which was previously passed under any other enactment in force, enforcing all or any of the decisions of an adjudicator or recommendations of a conciliator or any agreement reached in conciliation proceedings between the parties to an industrial dispute.
(ii) enforce [in the prescribed manner] for such period as may be specified, the whole or any part of an agreement reached in conciliation proceedings between the parties to an industrial dispute.
