Section 13: Nominations

The UP Basic Education Provident Fund Rules, 1975State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1972

(1) Each subscriber shall, as soon as possible after he joins the Provident Fund, be called upon by the appointing authority to furnish a declaration in Form No. 2 specifying the persons to whom and the manner in which the amount to the credit of the subscriber shall be paid on his death.

(2) A declaration made under sub-rule (1) may be revised from time to time and the fresh declaration shall be operative in place of the declaration immediately preceding it from the date on which it is received by the appointing authority.

(3) All such declarations as are in force shall be carefully recorded in the personal custody of the appointing authority.
