Section 10: Marital Status

The UP Recognised Basic Schools (Junior High Schools) (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Ministerial Staff and Group 'D' Employee) R…State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1972

A male candidate who has more than one wife living or a female candidate who has married a person already having a wife living, shall not be eligible for appointment to the service :

Provided that the Selection Committee may, if satisfied that there exists special ground for doing so, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
