The Uttar Pradesh Industrial Housing Act, 1955State Act of Uttarakhand · Act 23 of 1955

(1) The State Government shall by notification in the official Gazette appoint a [Labour] 1 Commissioner.

(2) The [Labour] 1 Commissioner shall be a Corporation sole by the name of the [Labour] 1 Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, and shall have perpetual succession and an official seal and may sue and be sued in his corporate name.
