Section 4: Other particulars which the report of Survey Commissioner may contain

The report to be submitted by the Survey Commissioner to the Government under sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Act shall be as specified in Form 1.

Other powers of Inquiry of Survey Commissioner - The Survey Commissioner shall, in addition to the powers specifiedunder sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Act, have the powers in respect of the following matters. namely:?-

(a) grant of temporary injunctions and interlocutory orders; and

(b) appointment of receivers :

Provided that no inquiry shall be instituted against the Board until the expiry of a period of two months from the date of a notice in writing delivered in the·officeof the Board stating the cause of action, description?place of the petitioner or the applicant and the relief claimed.
