Section 54: Superannuation

The West Bengal Panchayat (Gram Panchayat Administration) Rules, 2004State Rules of West Bengal · 1973

(1) The date ofcompulsory retirement of the employees ofa GramPanchayat is the date on which he attains the age of 60 years, or such age, as may be determined by the State Government.

(2) The employees ofaGramPanchayat may retire prematurely, owing to personal reason or on health ground, from service by giving written notice of not less than three months to the appointing authority.
