(1) The Chancellor shall have the power to cause an visit and inspection to be made by such person or persons as he nias insPeni"" direct, of the University, its buildings, laboratories and equipments, and of any institution, and also of the examinations, teaching and other work conducted or done by the University, and may cause an inquiry to be made in like manner in respect of any matter connected with the University :

Provided that the Chancellor shall, in every such case, ;lye previous notice to the Vice-Chancellor.

(2) The Chancellor shall communicate to the Vice- Chancellor his views on the result of any such inspection or inquiry. The University shall consider such views at a meeting and communicate its opinion to the Chancellor.

After considering such opinion, the Chancellor may give ouch advice as he thinks fit regarding the action to be taken on the result of the inspection or inquiry.

(3) The University shall report to the Chancellor the action, "if any, which is proposed to be taken or has been taken by it upon the .advice given under sub-section (2).

141 If action be not taken within a reasonable time to the satmfaction of the Chancellor, the Chancellor may, after considering any explanation furnished or representation made by the University in this regard, issue such directions in writing as he may think fit and the• University shall comp,v- with these directions.

27. Every dispute arising out of a contract- betwoen- the University and any of its officers or Teachers shall be referred to a Board of Arbitrators consisting_of one member appointed' by the University, one member nominated by the officer or Teacher concerned and an umpire appointed by the Chancellor - and the decision of the Board on such dispute shall be final, and no suit shall lie in any Civil Court in respect of the matters decided by the Board.
