(1) The University shall constitute for the benefit of its salaried officers (including the Vice-Chancellor), Teachers and other servants, in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by Statutes, such pension, insurance or provident funds as it may deem fit.

(2) Where a provident fund has been constituted by the.

University for the- benefit of its officers, Teachers and other servants of the University, the provisions of the Provident Funds Act, 1925 shall apply to such fund as if the fund were 19 of 1928„ a Government Provident Fund.

29. If any difficulty arises with respect to the establishmelt of the University or any subordinate authority of the University or to the transaction of any business of the University, the Vice-Chancellor may refer the same to the Chancellor who may thereupon issue such directien or cause such action to be taken as appears to him to be necessary or expedient for resolving the difficulty.
