The West Bengal Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1960State Act of West Bengal · Act 22 of 1960
(1) The Council shall, as soon as may be, after its first constitution, arrange for the registration of veterinary practitioners and for that purpose, shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint a date on or before which applications for first registration of names shall be made by veterinary practitioners qualified for registration under this Act.
(2) The names and addresses, the qualifications together with the dates on which such qualifications were acquired, and the dates of registration of all veterinary practitioners registered under this Act shall be entered in a register to be maintained for the purpose.
