Section 2: Definition

Wild Life (Protection) International Trade of Specimens Rules, 2023Central Rules · 1972

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) “Act” means the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972);

(b) “Appendix” means Appendix specified under Schedule IV appended to the Act;

(2) The words and expressions used and not defined in these Rules but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
